She awoke inside the coffin with no memories of herself, not even knowing her real name. Crowley didn't think too hard and just gave her "Yuu", as in "You", saying it would be easier than getting her used to a different name. It was later when she realized there were no girls in NRC, and scared of being expelled, since she already felt on thin ice due to being magic-less, she ran along everyone thinking she was a boy.If someone has a strong enough bond with her, they can lend her their powers for a limited time by making their magestone touch hers, which is useless and a colorless stone otherwise. When someone lends her their powers, she gets their dorm uniform.During Book 1, Deuce accidentally lends her his powers, leading her to discover that ability. On Book 2, it's Riddle; Book 3, it's Jack, on Book 4 it's Azul; Book 5 it's Jamil. On Book 6 during hers and Epel's escapade to save the kidnapped overblotters, Rook gives her a Pomefiore uniform to protect her from the cold.During Book 7, at the start, in a last attempt to keep her safe, Lilia manages to barely graze her magestone before they all fall asleep. When they meet up with Idia, he quickly sketches and makes her a dorm uniform of her own. This is how her own Ramshackle uniform is made. During the supporting role against Malleus from Idia's dream headquarters, she is lent Idia's own powers. ~~(I just wanted an excuse for her to wear every dorm uniform).~~

After the events of Book 4, after getting dragged around and basically being held against her will in Scarabia, she gets fed up and starts training to at least be able to beat someone up should they try to drag her anywhere. Lilia redirects her to Silver, who enjoys having a pupil, and it's how she begins to spend more time at Diasomnia at first.She tries to use different weapons during the story, but her weapon of choice is a bat. During Book 6, she uses a crowbar she picks up in the Island of Woe after hell breaks loose. During Book 7, she uses a metal bat to beat the Silver Owls (it drives Lilia up a wall) at first until she gets her own staff with her Ramshackle uniform. She prefers hitting people with it, though.Malleus Draconia and Lilia Vanrouge both grow feelings for her as they grow closer as friends. Lilia, as he realizes his time is running out faster than expected, decides to step out of the way and silently wish her and Malleus the best. It's during his dream where she realizes he has been lying, and nearly tears him a new one. Malleus, on the other hand, notices Lilia's longing and also decides to step aside so Lilia can be happy, and when he says so when appears at the end of Lilia's dream, she runs up to his overblot form and nearly smacks him, to everyone's horror. They promise to talk about it after they save Malleus, but they don't get to properly talk about how they feel towards each other until the ball, at the end of everything.(Fae relationships do not follow human rules okay, if both want her and she wants both of them there's nothing more to question. Faes live long and only love one person, so they happily accept the arrangement.)
